Is there a season 2 for All of Us Are Dead? ›

In June 2022, the show was renewed for a new season. The streamer announced All of Us Are Dead Season 2 with an eerie and scary seventeen-second audio-visual.

Lee Cheong-san is presumed dead by his friends at the end of All of Us Are Dead season 1, but he could still be alive. Netflix's All of Us Are Dead seamlessly combines a high school K-drama and a zombie apocalypse story.

After that, Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun) decides to abandon the group. She'll be fine though, because unlike the others, Nam-ra has been infected with a strange variant of the virus that has transformed her into some kind of zombie/human hybrid.

Did Lee Cheong-san really die? Cheong-san had several brushes with death through the action-packed series, but he was bitten and ultimately infected by his former classmate Gwi-nam. When a pack of zombies attempts to prey on his friends, Cheong-san sacrifices himself by drawing the pack away from his besties.

All of Us Are Dead Season 2's release date could arrive by mid-2024. Season 2 was officially renewed on June 6, 2022, after Season 1 debuted in January 2022. However, there is no update on the filming schedule yet. It was supposed to start production soon after the renewal, but it hasn't happened so far.

Considering the lack of information on the filming status, it seems unlikely that All of Us Are Dead Season 2 will premiere before 2024. If filming starts in August, based on typical TV series production timelines, it could take up to 12 months for post-production and editing, delaying the release until mid-2024.

After evading the zombies, he fought Gwi-nam, but lost as Gwi-nam managed to gouge Cheong-san's eye in revenge. When the military bombed the school, Cheong-san grabbed Gwi-nam and used him as a shield before jumping into an elevator shaft as the flames consumed both of them.

After his fight and the bombing of the high school, Cheong-san is presumed dead, moreover he was bitten he would turn into a zombie but many fans assume that he is still alive or even a "half-bie”, since there is plenty of evidence that points to him still being alive.

Gwi-nam shows up to the building where the remaining students are. He bites Cheong-san. After deciding to sacrifice himself, Cheong-san says goodbye to his friends and On-jo, and the two finally kiss. He lures the zombies away, and he and Gwi-nam have their final duel.

Unfortunately, the virus mutated into mindlessness and bloodlust, kickstarting the events that would lead to a zombie outbreak. Everyone is susceptible to the Jonas virus, either becoming a zombie or asymptomatic "hambies" (half-human, half-zombies). That is, everyone except Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hoo).

Cheong-san cried out to his mother, making Dae-su and Wu-jin freeze. Later on, she would bump into a zombified So-ju after he turned into a zombie. Mrs. Lee is last seen among the zombies gathered in the field, where she was then incinerated in the bombing by the military.
